Bertha’s Escape Episode 3

May 4th, 2011    Posted in jewelry

This is the first time you must escape from a house whose door is open since the beginning of the game .. Funny concept: the exterior is just there in front of the foot, but the landscape Fukushimesque ahead leaves suggest that the departure will be final. So it begins work to bring all valuables – Silver Jewellery, Viagra – a toiletry kit that will be our only luggage.

It is also the first time we play a escape room the scenario so random that the usefulness of objects changes with each game. Some are not totally useless. Moreover, the inventory is too small to cram everything we came to hand: it will replace certain items where they were found to make room. Some hiding places remain empty. In Bertha’s Escape Episode 3, there is also a little girl with oversized breasts knocking at the door – turn it up to find his “knock knock”. And a red balloon that is nagging us playing hide and seek in the house.

That will eventually put on a willy. And a jewel that does emerge as the right ear, not the left. And a strange boy who steals an object we barely recovered to piss in a table. Hum. All very strange. Of course, we will do our best to direct the diverted escapers in the forums …

Fighting, speed, harmony, security

Like the French, the Koreans are wondering if disaster which the Japanese are the victims, they would react as admirable.

They ask this question with a little more interest in Korea as far as Japan, the community takes precedence over the individual. This resemblance is the result of a common philosophical and cultural heritage, but also a basic pragmatism because in these two countries are among the most densely populated in the world, the principle of every man for himself does not simply march. Orderly queues formed waiting for the subway in Japan and Korea are an expression of civility, but above all a need to get to work on time without being killed in a stampede out of control.

This does not detract from the merit of the Japanese in their admirable response to disasters which they are the victims. Admiration felt by Koreans also generally reluctant to recognize the merits of their powerful neighbors. Thus can we see on television reports filmed Korean refugee centers in Japan highlighting the impeccable order and dignity to prevail, especially in a story where we saw the refugees in a community hall lacking everything, but still sorting their waste carefully.

While the Koreans have also shown courage and selflessness in the past, notably during the Asian crisis of 97, when to bail out of their Central Bank, thousands of taxpayers were queuing at banks to give their Silver Jewellery family. But many Koreans recognize that a crisis of the magnitude of that of Japan, their reaction would definitely not as calm and controlled. Because beyond certain cultural codes common to both countries, there is the character of both peoples, and the subject, can not be more different than Korean and Japanese.

A French are familiar with both countries for having lived and worked me summed up all that separates the Koreans by the Japanese in these terms very relevant: where the Korean favors the “fighting” (a term adopted by the Korean language expressing a mixture of courage , tenacity and fighting spirit) and speed, the Japanese would favor harmony and security.

Well, in terms of security, the failure of the operator of the plant in Fukushima is not a perfect example. Still, for many Koreans, if an earthquake of this magnitude had hit Seoul, “is very simple, we would all be dead” …

Tisci-Dior: A collaboration of luxury?

March 19th, 2011    Posted in news

Rumors concerning the estate of John Galliano at Christian Dior are confirmed. It would Riccardo Tisci – in charge of the artistic direction of Givenchy for several years – with the former editor of Vogue, Carine Roitfeld, who would take over the reins of this great fashion house. Qu’appotera Tisci, the young designer at Dior?

After the statements of Karl Lagerfeld in the columns of the Journal du Dimanche and those of Derek Blasberg, editor of Harper’s Bazaar, it becomes obvious that Dior has found a replacement for John Galliano in the person of Riccardo Tisci. This will be probably accompanied Roitfled Carine, who left Vogue recently. After fifteen years of Dior by Galliano and unexpected result of this replacement, the question most whispered in the fashion world is: What will tone Tisci as Artistic Director of Dior?

Fashion house Dior

Dior, like all fashion houses, has his world, his style, his peculiarities. Fashion Dior must express the ultra-feminine color, pomp to the extreme, elite figures meek, the magic grand. This view of the seam is affirmed on the catwalk on both cuts and materials creation, and partly thanks to the abundance of Silver Jewellery, accessories, glitter, beads, feathers and petals. Season after season, Galliano had managed to install this wonderful world and fantasy. Paraded on the runways, dolls dressed in modern clothing line Corolla – a line that had the reputation of Christian Dior in its infancy. The stylist founder explained: “I will draw women flowers, soft shoulders, busts flourished, sizes as fine vines and broad skirts as corolla. Although several collections have already been trimmed to the line H – to release the woman’s height – the identity of the House of Dior continues in this line corolla.

The universe of Tisci

If Riccardo Tisci was the youngest designer ever to take the artistic director of a fashion house (Givenchy in this case), it’s not for nothing. This young Italian has the reputation of being a conceptual designer excessive. Tisci explores many universes with always the same excessive: Minimalism, gothic trend sado-masochist, animal creations, paintings ecclesiastical … But, above all, what is his paw is his ability to combine two completely different themes, not showing it inappropriate. The current designer of Givenchy himself says he is looking to combine both worlds inspiration inaccordance a priori. He gave as example the season Couture Givenchy Resort 2010, in which he said he mixed the style of David Bowie and the influence of North Africa.

In the designer’s sketchbooks, there are a lot of black, white, corsets, chest, transparent material, pleated fabrics, cuts straight, hips marked feathers and metallic elements. Tisci says her style is inspired by the aristocracy: elegant, feminine and modern – a definition similar to the bias artistic Dior. That was enough to reassure fans of Christian Dior still worried. “You know, time is changing, women are changing” (“You know, times change, so also wives) said Riccardo Tisci in an interview in 2009. It remains for us to let the change take place and wait Tisci’s first collection for Dior.
