the Museum of Religious Art Fourvière hosts a retrospective exhibition devoted to the artist Goudji

In 2011, Goudji celebrate its 70th anniversary. To celebrate this event, the Museum of Fourviere orgnaise a unique exhibition for the artist, including all his works, his genius and his history.
Check out a retrospective comprising four axes: the first Goudji creations that are inspired jewelry of ancient civilizations, civilian objects such as dishes, boxes, characters and fantastic creatures, swords and academicians to finish liturgical objects used.
Recall that Goudji achieved for the year of Jubilee the silver hammer with which the pope opened the holy door of St. Peter’s and the formalism of John Paul II.
Also on this occasion, a film about Goudji in which it tells both the man and artist, will be screened within the exhibition. Just as a scale reconstruction of a portion of one of the workshops Goudji.
