Tweet Old jewelry is harder and harder to come by as thrift stores, charity shops and places like that are being picked over. That’s because jewelry makeover projects are a hot trend right now. If you’re lucky and have a stash of old broken jewelry and want to do something other than a jewelry makeover project, consider recycling them to decorate your home! Earlier this year, Laurie over at the Tip Junkie blog showcased her wonderful jewelry monogram design tutorial She created it for an accessory store called Charming Charlie It was also a giveaway which has since closed. But the video instructions are there to make your own! The jewelry she deconstructed consisted of broken pieces with rhinestones missing and the like.
